I know I am late in the game for this, as the news broke about a week ago. But seems Lebanon's Sarah's Bag (which has been helmed for 20 years by Sarah Beydoun) will collaborate with French house Chloe for a reedition of their Woody bag in crochet.
In case you do not know Sarah's Bag uses underpriviledged women and ex-prisoners to do her very funky bags. While Chloe now under the creative direction of Gabriela Hearst has been championing sustainable and eco-focused design procedures. Basically "a collaboration between two brands that believe in the importance of social sustainability and the empowerment of women".
The bag is - on the website of Chloe - already sold out after going for around 600 USD (see here).
Other Sarah's Bag hits include the Bonjus Pyramid, the Camion Clutch, the Walkman bag and a Matchbox minaudiere (part of its Pure Nostalgia collaboration).
