Now this is alarming. I just saw an ad that encourages people to actually become candidates for the parliament elections - the ad is signed by official bodies no less. About 2 months away from the elections, this is worrying. Could it be there is not enough people interested in the elections to actually be candidates? Numbers indicate 1043 candidates for 128 seats, apparently 67 more candidates than the 2018 elections. Among those 155 females (versus 111 last time). Well, these seem like respectable numbers. But then again what do I know?
