You know how everyone is up in arms over plastic straws in the ocean. Well, plastic straws make up 0.3% of the plastic in the ocean, but 48% comes from fishing nets. Do you see anyone up in arms over fishing nets? No, not really. So why is Greenpeace looking the other way on this problem is a bit beyond me. Do note, I have no problem getting rid of 0,3% of the plastic waste in the sea, but last time I checked my math 48% was way bigger.
