The assassination of French ambassador Louis Delamare on Sept. 4th 1981, another one of the solved-unsolved mystery murders in Lebanon. He was on the back of his non-bulletproof Peugeot 604. His driver managed to take him to Barbir hospital after the assassination attempt but he died on the operating table.
