OK so now it seems there is a pattern in this year's Army Day ads - which brands sticks by the army more than the other. Confused? Well, let me explain - recently there was a lot of anti-army propaganda mainly on the backdrop of some of the terrorists being caught not surviving to tell the tale (i.e. suspiciously killed while in custody). Which brings us to Alfa (one of the two mobile operators in Lebanon) which headlines - "you protect us and we protect you" with people forming a badge around the army logo.
My own preference goes for the ad they did in 2015:
In slang Arabic, "alfa" means "two thousands"... So it went "Two thousands/Alfa salutes and appreciation" - which includes the brand name and the coolest tribute.
