Kafka on a wall in Beirut

Today I have seen this text by Kafka on a wall in Beirut, and try as I might to locate it online, so I translated it - and if there's any issue with the translation just remember what Borges said "the original is unfaithful to the translation"...
"And here and there strange things shivering in the water's movement that would never stand still... Things that had been lost again immediately and that water submerged in front of his amazed eyes and boats subsidiary to the transocean liners were rowing ready with its worthiness. And they were filled with passengers sitting in silence and expectation as if they were compacted there." Kafka 1913
