Right on time for Women's Day, the National Commission for Lebanese Women is launching a campaign with the help of current Miss Lebanon Maya Reaidy under the tag #BalanceForBetter with an Arabic that goes #التوازن_للافضل - there is also a "pose" with the hands in the shape of a balance which apparently is supposed to go viral (see
this post as an indicator). Whereas I totally support women claiming their rights when it comes to equality, I am not sure how this campaign translates in terms of objectives - still, I suppose any campaign that enforces women's rights is appreciated and welcome.
