Beautifully acted and executed, Waitrose just butchered the Elton John ad by John Lewis ad for Christmas all for fun. Under the line "too good to wait" turns out that even Elton John was not worthy of watching when there was something else waiting to be eaten with delight. Of course John Lewis and Waitrose have a partnership (they both issued the Bohemian Rhapsody ad prior). So it was done smartly and cleverly but all in good fun. Watch the full video here.
