Electricite de Zahle, whose concession will not be renewed next year, has issued a new
TVC - very much in line with its usual outings starring Tante Samira, the foul-mouthed granny everyone loves. This time she is having a nightmare about electricity cuts and the drawbacks of it. The last line is what hints about the nightmare to come "our electricity is
still 24/24" - which obviously is a wink when EDL (Electricte du Liban) takes over the concession next year.
