Kim Philby, the Beirut years.

Kim Philby - the Brittish spy who was a Soviet double agent - in Beirut: His house on rue Kantari, his mistress then wife Eleanor, his trips to the Kit Kat with his father St John (and brief residence with him in Ajaltoun), the head barman at the St. George hotel Bar Ali Bitar, his family life including picnics, and eventually his fleeing on a stormy night in 1963 on board a Russian freight ship called the Dolmatova.
