Global Smile Foundation against cleft lip and cleft palate

"So as for no one to remain without a smile", a campaign by the Global Smile Foundation, the Lebanese Ministry of Health and the American University of Beirut Medical Center, aims to provide operations for people suffering from cleft lip and cleft palate. Of course, such operations contribute, apart from the aesthetic angle, to a boost in the self-confidence of the prospective patient and their ability to lead a normal life. I was truly pleased someone was shedding light on this!
The face in the ad is that of former Miss Lebanon Clemence Achkar who plays the before (cleft lip/palate) and the after (as seen after the operation).
