Hyundai - why I miss hard sell ads

In a world where "creative" ads rule - which are usually idiotic attempts at being interesting or worse rip off from other brands (or even movies as is the fad lately) - I miss hard sell ads. When Nike launched its zoom system to coincide with the 1996 Atlanta Olympics it came up with an 8[page fold ad. In the middle was the line "tell us what it is, tell us what it does, and don't play the national anthem while you do it". So please, look at the ad above - easily understood, not very creative but still interesting to see, and with a message clearly delivered.
