I have spoken before about the Al Marada ad for the election but it is only up till now that I managed to get the elusive "we are the forgiveness and we are tomorrow" - obviously this is a wink at the Ehden massacre that killed Marada leader Tony Frangieh which was perpetrated by the Lebanese Forces at the time - I know this will get confusing but the Tony Frangieh in question is the father not son of Suleiman Frangieh (himself grandson of the president Suleiman Frangieh). Still, family tree aside, this is a smart ad.
