Usually it is a design no-no to toy around with the logo but hey, if you're going to do it might as well do what Bank of Beirut did for Army Day. I really like their interpretation. And there's an ad to go along with this as well, with the bank's employees marching along with the army. Even the headline is a nod to the Arabic selling like of the bank "with you... to the farthest border" which becomes in the ad "all of us are with you... to the farthest border" - another strategy of gluing with the army in the troubles it faced lately (on and off field). I think Bank of Beirut overdid it a bit, if it was up to me, I'd have kept it concise and punchy with just the logo. But hey, better overdo it then under do it I guess!
