Lebanon's history via pop culture 39

Ya nassib chid w sib, douri douri ya dwalib , barki mnerba7, barki mnerba7, barki war2etna bitsib! The Lebanese lottery, way before the Loto and Sana Nasr, where orphan children would roll the wheels making all eyes shine and twinkle, hoping the number of their tickets would show up – unless sadly you get the “consolation prize” should you get a ticket with a different denomination. Millionaires were made, but every week the hope trumped the fear, and on it went.
